Another Great Christmas Lunch!!

Thank you to all who were able to join us for our annual Christmas lunch on Dec 4, 2015. It was a great meal with even better entertainment! With the generosity of the attendees and our great sponsors we were able to raise $2000. Genworth has offered a generous donation of $1000 towards this great cause also. So a total of $3000 will be going to the Edmonton Christmas Bureau!!

November Habitat Luncheon

Our November luncheon at the Habitat for Humanity Prefab workshop was a great event!!! Thank you to everyone at Habitat for letting us join you for a lunch and tour.

MLAA was proud to be able to present a cheque for $8000 from our 2015 Golf Tournament. Money was raised from golf profits and a generous donation from Genworth. Again Thank you to all who come out to support MLAA and Habitat for Humanity!!

Habitat for Humanity has generously offered to provide two links to the videos we showed at the lunch presentation today would like with those members who were unable to attend.

Donation to the Edmonton Christmas Bureau

Thanks again to all of our members that came out to our Christmas luncheon.  The proceeds from this annual event raised $2300 for the Edmonton Christmas Bureau.

MLAA Edmonton Donates To Christmas Bureau

On behalf of the MLAA Edmonton & AMBA we are happy to present a cheque for $2,000 to the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton.  The funds were provided by generous donations from the MLAA Edmonton Membership & Sponsors at our December 2013 luncheon.

2013 Edmonton MLAA Golf Tournament

The June 2013 MLAA Golf Tournament was a great success!  The weather turned out great and 9 holes was just perfect before the hail storm came in.

The MLAA is pleased to announce that we were able to raise $3,000 for Habitat for Humanity.

Edmonton’s housing market shows strength for 2013

EDMONTON - Edmonton housing prices continued to climb steadily during 2012, with the average of all homes at $333,140 in December — a jump of 5.4 per cent over the same period last year, the Realtors Association reported Thursday. Single family homes did even better, ending the year with an average selling price of $391,427, up 6.8 per cent over last year. However, condominium prices were down slightly, by less than one per cent for 2012, with the average selling price $225,143. “We are in a good place and see very stable growth ahead,” said Doug Singleton, the association’s outgoing president who has handed over duties to Darrell Cook for 2013. After a sharp spike in prices in 2007 was followed by a steep decline, Singleton said the market has mostly recovered from those gyrations. “We are back to the prices of 2006 before that spike, with some areas above the 2007 level.” The association will be releasing its 2013 forecast next week. “The fin ...
